Construction signage
Your signage is an essential control used to minimise hazards in the workplace. The AS/NZS 1319:1994 standard sets out requirements for the design and use of safety signs for the occupational environment to regulate and control safety procedures, to warn of hazards and to provide emergency information including fire protection information.
Safety signs are broken down into different classifications, based on their function and use.
Size your sign
Choosing the size of a sign is more than just fitting it to the dimensions of the available space. Signs need to be large enough to achieve quick and accurate communication of safety messages.

To ensure compliance with AS/NZS 1319:1994, factors like site environment, viewing distance and light quality must be considered when determining sign and print size.
